On Tuesday, 21st of Novemeber, The 3rd General Assembly of the Organizing Committee of the Kansai World Masters Games 2021 took place at Imperial Hotel Osaka. We reported on the agreement signed between the Organizing Committee of the Rugby World Cup 2019, The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and our Organizing Committee. Also, we reported on the preparation situation of the Kansai games and the Collaboration Agreement with the “The Consortium of foreign studies in Japan,” consisting of 7 foreign language universities in Japan.
In addition, video message from Kai Holm, the President of IMGA, and Kit McConnell, the IOC Sports Director, were shown on the screen.
We shouted out for the success of the Kansai Games, with the representatives of the host prefectures and cities, President Ido and President Matsumoto, Honorary President Mori, and the ambassador So Takei.
At the venue, in addition to exhibiting PR booths of the prefectural cities, Rekishi Kaido Promotional Council, and the KANSAI Tourism Bureau, Māori sculpture gifted by the Organizing committee of the Auckland Games in April were exhibited.
The Organizing Committee and the Executive Committee will work together to elevate the excitementand emotions and will work hard to make the Games successful.
